Resumen: En este artículo presentamos un análisis de los errores de traducción cometidos por los alumnos tailandeses en la traducción del texto con elementos culturales del español al tailandés. Los datos obtenidos han permitido identificar los problemas y dificultades persistentes de los alumnos a la hora de traducir, y han confirmado la necesidad de integrar objetivos de aprendizaje específicos para desarrollar la competencia traductora en los alumnos.
Abstract: The aim this paper is to present an analysis of the translation errors committed by the Thai students in the translation of the text with cultural elements from Spanish to Thai. The data obtained have allowed us to identify the persistent problems and difficulties of the students when translating, and have confirmed the need to integrate specific learning objectives in order to develop the translator competence in the students.
